MICHAEL ABBOTT
Meet Michael W. Abbott, a Los Angeles-based Producer & Director known for his work in motion pictures, documentaries, unscripted television, branded content, and live streaming original content. Michael’s ability to see life through other peoples perspectives and build a narrative around it is what makes him such an effective and ward winning producer and director. With over a decade of experience, Abbott's journey began at Savoy Pictures in Santa Monica, where he worked as a Marketing Financial Analyst for films like "A Bronx Tale" and "Circle of Friends". He later produced the festival-winning music documentary "Synergy: Visions of Vibe".
Abbott's career highlights include producing the documentary "Stripped: Greg Friedler’s Naked Las Vegas", which premiered on Showtime Networks, and serving as an Associate Producer on the Sundance and Cannes film festival feature "Expired". He's also ventured into branded documentary content, notably producing and directing the GM/Cadillac series MyCadillacStory, which became one of the top branded channels on YouTube.
In addition to his film work, Abbott has directed music videos, commercials, and documentary films that have garnered millions of views. Notable projects include producing One Direction's hit music video for "Steal My Girl" and executive producing Season 2 of "The Navigator Live", a music travel TV series aired on AXS.
